Before I head to bed tonight, I will get my attire ready. Which is our Transgender shirt and black pants. Tomorrow morning, I am going to shower and do my hair. After that I’m going to leave my house by 6 am. When we arrive at the place I will communicate with my group members, meet up with them and help set up. For what we have plan at our booth is we have a table with black cloth. In that table will have the water bottles that we created and the transgender true and false activity with chairs. When we see people walking near by our booth, we will invite them to come over. Something that I would say is “Hello, welcome to our booth. This is the Transgender brain, would you like a free water bottle.” After that I will ask them if they would want to play our transgender true or false game. The game we created is start an informational conversation about the facts and misconceptions. When the audience get it wrong we will explain why and when they get it right we will explain in depth. An example is I’ll say “People are transgender because they want attention. True or false?” The answer is false.
Another thing that I learned from my book is “A son born to a woman who undergoes stress early in her pregnancy is more likely to grow up being gay than a son born to a non stressed mother.” When a stress pregnant mom releases a hormone called androstenedione. That hormone messes up the timing and amount of release of testosterone into the fetal brain which interferes with development of the part of the brain linked into sexual orientation.
